Do you want to be like a mom to your younger brother or another infant/toddler boy? Taking on those duties isn't easy, but you can help out by taking on a caregiving role.

1Find the boy's favorite TV show, and watch it with him. This shows that you care about his interests, and you two will have a topic to talk about afterwards. While he is young, bonding with him is very important. Although he might not remember every single memory, he will recall how great of a role model you were.- Record the TV show so you can rewatch episodes with him.

2Figure out what he likes to eat. Making sure he eats a healthy meal is important, as well as finding out his favorite foods. With an adult's supervision, you could also help prepare good meals for him. -
3Purchase him toys. Simply place aside a little of your allowance, and save it up until you have enough to bring him to the toy store. Spend time to play with him, and this will both educate him and strengthen your bond with him.- Since he is young, you must be a good role model for him. Treat him nicely, and he will learn to treat you kindly in return.

4Learn how to change dirty diapers. Give his parents a break. Also, this shows how much you love him. Taking care of a child isn't all fun and play, and you must learn to take on the difficult parts as well. -
5Lay him down for a nap. Making sure he gets his rest is very important, as this is the time when his body will grow.
